The National Space & Technology Association will eventually expand into an Internet-Intranet portal, which will serve as a major hub for the sharing of intelligent information between the space and high technology industries and the general public.
The sorted and systematic presentation of intelligent information will:
-
Eliminate the cyberspace VOID that currently exists when searching for emerging scientific and mechanical technology developments
-
Create a single, central point of entry to every facet of advancing technology
-
Increase the awareness of technological advancements on a mass scale
-
Unite news, press releases, and major media events through a concentrated bureau
-
Facilitate communication flow throughout business, governmental, industrial and institutional environments (ex: peer to peer, B2B, and B2C interaction)
-
Enable collaboration among diverse mini-portals and strategic information sectors
-
Provide multimedia resources, streaming video/audio, or web TV broadcasts
-
Educate both the industry and the public on relevant technological issues
-
Translate site content into major language groups for an international audience
-
Promote the vision and value of future space exploration
-
Commemorate the Heroes and sacrifices made to reach the new frontier
-
Generate revenues from memberships, conventions, seminars, workshops, sponsorships, exhibits, and web cast pay-per-view events
-
Elevate Houston?s historical and future importance as Space City, USA
-
Cultivate lasting national involvement and community support through NSTA scholarships, internships, and memorial funds
-
Contribute to Houston?s economy by hosting annual conventions and exhibitions
